The Miami Dolphins beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-13 on Sunday, but it was a pigeon that trended worldwide on Twitter. Wait, what? Yup a pigeon. A pigeon that by the end of the game had it’s own Twitter account. What a world.

During the second half of the game a pigeon flew his happy ass down onto the field and never left, he even ran down on a kickoff at one point, and barely alluded Lamar Miller on a long run. Pigeon ain’t care, pigeon gotta eat. Not even the Jaguars over-sized stuffed animal mascot sneaking up on him could scare Jacksonville pigeon. Nope, dude looked over and said, “Try me.”

As the game ended the camera panned over to the pigeon still just doing his thing. I’ll think about you, Jacksonville pigeon.

You may be asking yourself why this is more important than the game itself. Well, it’s not, but the game itself was straight-up Nyquil. The Jaguars rookie QB Blake Bortles bailed the Dolphins out early, throwing two gimme pick-6 interceptions, and the Dolphins sealed it away late by just not making any mistakes. That’s pretty much your game summary, the Dolphins played the Jaguars and they sucked a little less. Mission accomplished.

The win over the stinky Jags makes that two and a row for the Dolphins. If they win next week against the San Diego Chargers that would be three-in-a-row, which is called a “winning streak.” It has happened before.
