DJ Paris Hilton is super sorry, you guys.
Yesterday, she pissed off a bunch of Dorothy’s friends by makings some rude and insensitive comments about the gay community. She didn’t mean it, though. Because she didn’t know her conversation was being recorded by a cab driver.
But since everyone freaked out on her so hardcore, Paris wrote up a totally sincere apology and released it to anti-discrimination monitoring organization GLAAD. Do you forgive her?

“As anyone close to me knows,” she begins. “I always have been and always will be a huge supporter of the gay community.”
But what did she say that could be so horrible? Only that gays are gross and full of AIDS.
She was actually with a gay friend when she said it. They’d been discussing popular social hook-up app Grindr, and the opportunistic cabby snipped this bit of the conversation for a salacious leak.
“Ewwww … Gay guys are the horniest people in the world,” she said to her friend. “Most of them probably have AIDS … I would be so scared if I was a gay guy … You’ll like die of AIDS.”
Of course, that’s not good PR jazz. But Paris is making up for it.
“Gay people are the strongest and most inspiring people I know. It is so wrong when people bully or put down others for being gay. No one should have to go through that,” she writes. “Again, I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart and I feel absolutely horrible.”
