The Jersey Shore d-bags are safely ensconced back in Jersey, and not a single Kardashian has bothered to take us recently, but that doesn’t mean the reality TV epidemic is done with South Beach yet. The CW has announced that they’ll air The Catalina this summer, which, as the name suggests, follows the staff at the SoBe hotel.
The press release says the show, “follows a dysfunctional group of young staffers at The Catalina hotel in Miami’s South Beach neighborhood who party harder than the guests.”
It’s brought to you by Bischoff Hervey Entertainment, the same production house that has brought us such fine shows as Big Easy Brides, Bear Swamp Recovery, and I Want to Be a Hilton. Masterpieces all.
Other than that, there’s not much information about The Catalina, but the show should premiere this summer sometime on America’s favorite forgotten mini-network.
