The South Florida stop of the Blazed and Confused tour, originally scheduled for August 1 at Bayfront Park in Miami, has been canceled. Promotion company AEG Live says it’s due to “scheduling conflicts,” and, strangely, the whole date seems to have been moved north to Orlando’s Hard Rock Live, according to the Blazed and Confused Facebook page.
That seems unlikely, considering Most of the artists have rescheduled to play an individual local date nearby. (Slightly Stoopid‘s heading further north to Orlando, instead, but still). And The announcement also comes after a special promotion last Friday afternoon that offered tickets for $10. Seems economic reasons are probably the culprit.
In any event, Mickey Avalon is (supposedly) scheduled to perform the same day, August 1, at Set — that’s appropriate to his usual glitzy-club habitat. Snoop Dogg‘s gig will also perform at an area club, but details are pending. Stay tuned to Crossfade for further information.
In the meantime, if you bought a ticket to Blazed and Confused, refunds are available at points of purchase. But tickets sold to the Miami date will also be honored in Orlando if you want to make the trek. It’s kind of confusing; check the Blazed and Confused Facebook page, or visit AEG Live.
