It’s that time again — the last Friday of the month. Time for Critical Mass.
And tonight the massive group bicycle ride will head north. Like, way north.
After starting downtown, the ride will head west, along Flagler Street. At NW 22nd Avenue, in Little Havana, cyclists will turn north, passing through Allapattah, Brownsville, and Gladeview. At 116th Street, the route will head back east, to North Miami, before finally turning back south, along Biscayne Boulevard and then jogging in a bit, at NE 54th Street, to North Miami Avenue.
This is a long one, with a total distance of 24 miles.

“Slower and less experienced riders should be towards the front,” ride organizers say. “Do not allow gaps to open up. If you see a gap forming, call out the riders around you to close it.”
Below is the full map of tonight’s ride. As always, the event meets at Government Center in downtown at 6:30 p.m., and the group takes off at 7:15.
