Two gossip blogs are reporting that LeBron James finally popped the question to Savannah Brinson, his longtime girlfriend and mother of his two kids, last night. Is King James following in the footsteps of his recently engaged teammate Chris Bosh and about to head down the aisle?
Both TerezOwens.com and Media Take Out, not exactly the world’s most credible sources, are claiming that James got down on one knee and popped the question last night.
“MedaTakeOut.com learned that NBA MEGA-SUPERSTAR LeBron James and his babys mother Savannah got engaged LAST NIGHT.How do we know this, well Savannah sent out a text message to her closest GIRLFRIENDS last night. And one MTO reader happened to be there when it arrived,” reports the site.
“The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, “It said ‘I’m going to by Mrs James. He proposed.'”

But don’t pop the champagne yet. Brian Windhorst, who covers James’ former team the Cavs for The Cleveland Plain-Dealers, says that the rumors are not true.
“Not true I am told. RT @CavsWITNESS Rumor: @kingjames proposed to Savnnah,” reads his Twitter.
According to his Twitter, James was apparently in attendance at Drake’s concert at the James L. Knight center last night.
Maybe Wheel Chair Jimmy got him in the proposal mood, but considering the guy is notoriously not shy, you think he might have mentioned it publicly by now.
As for Brinson, she told Harper’s Bazaar back in August she’s in no rush to get married: “I would never rush him to do something like that. We’re really comfortable with the way things are now. And it’s not up to me. When it happens, it happens. We talk about it. If we do it, I want it to be forever.”
