When notorious rap provocateur, noted man of the people, and New Times columnist Luther Campbell told the Young Money crew to either give back or get out of Miami, pop-hopper Drake Aubrey Graham tried to act tough.

He shot back at Campbell with “The Motto,” spitting a lame diss that sounded like a Facebook status update. “Tell Uncle Luke I’m out in Miami too/Clubbin’ hard, fuckin’ women, there ain’t much to do,” Drizzy said. “Wrist bling, got a condo up on Biscayne/Still gettin’ brain from a thang, ain’t shit change.”

But now, according to TMZ, the YMCMB fancy boy is selling his 305 fuck pad, which means that (1) there ain’t no more “gettin’ brain on Biscayne” and (2) Uncle Luke wins.

$30,000

Located in the Marquis Residences (“Downtown Miami’s newest, most elevated address”) at 1100 Biscayne Boulevard, Drake’s crib is actually a combination condo, created by bashing out a wall between a three-bedroom, 3,800-square-foot suite and a neighboring 1,675-square-foot apartment.

In January 2011, Mr. Graham bought both high-rise spaces for $1.903 million. And a few months later, he used them as a set for the “I’m on One” video by Young Money crony DJ Khaled, another one of Uncle Luke’s targets for deportation from Dade County.

Then last week, Drake put his Marquis condos on the market, asking $1.9 million for the suite and $599,000 for the apartment. So it looks like Drizzy’s trying to turn a profit, grabbing “a little more cash than [he] already got.”

But despite rising prices on the mainland (not to mention the sale of the Beach’s most expensive condo ever), Miami real estate still sucks. And we here at Crossfade are predicting that Drizzy’s gonna suffer a loss of approximately $335,000 à la Beyoncé, all thanks to a fickle market and bad karma for pissing off Luke.
