So you caught the premiere of Magic City at the Miami International Film Festival earlier this month, and you’re hooked. One problem: You can’t afford premium cable, so won’t be able to see what happens next when the show makes its debut on Starz April 6.
Worry not — Starz has announced it’ll make the first three episodes of the series available online this weekend.
According to the Facebook page for the TV show, which chronicles the lives, loves, dirty dealings, and sexytimes of characters surrounding a fictional Miami hotel called the Miramar:
We’ll be pre-releasing the first three episodes for your viewing pleasure this weekend! Are you as excited as we are?
When news happens, Miami New Times is there —
Your support strengthens our coverage.
We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If Miami New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
Well, yeah.
Check Magic City’s Facebook page for an official announcement when the shows go live online, and tide yourself over with our memories of the show’s red carpet premiere in Miami in the meantime.
Just try not to get too attached — especially if you’re not planning to shell out for a subscription to Starz before episode four.
