North Sea, Texas: This closing-night film follows Pim, a teenage boy who lives with his ex-beauty queen mom and is experiencing something almost all LGBT people face at some point — crushing on a heterosexual. 8 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Colony Theatre, 1040 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach. Tickets cost $20.

This Is What Love in Action Looks Like: This documentary tells the story of a 16-year-old who used social media to inform the world that his parents had placed him in a program to “cure” his homosexuality.
