But when a 63-year-old man in cutoff camouflage, wrap-around sunglasses, and a cowboy hat walks into a room, it’s hard to stop the mind from wandering to that part of the brain that says, This guy is a misogynistic, right-wing lunatic with a soft spot for conspiracy theories and a knack for off-color humor.
And yes, Ted Nugent is that person. “I’m an extremely loving and passionate man, and people who investigate me honestly, without the baggage of political correctness, ascertain the conclusion that I’m a damned nice guy,” he told CBS correspondent Jeff Glor earlier this year. “And if you can find a screening process more powerful than that, I’ll suck your dick.”
