The debate continues on about whether or not fans in Florida actually care about professional baseball. Not even DJ Kitty and the chance to clinch a play off birth can get more than a pathetic handful of fans out to see the Tampa Bay Rays. Florida Marlins attendance is also notoriously low. Does the fact there’s now pictures of Marlins rookie Logan Morrison floating around the internet in a Baywatch style woman’s swimsuit complete with gratuitous fake pubic hair make you care about baseball anymore? No, probably not, but I bet you want to see the slightly-NSFW full picture.
“Ever wonder what Baywatch would have been like if @DavidHasselhoff had an ugly twin sister on the show? Now you know,” Morrison tweeted with the picture attached.
Actually, no, Logan, we never wondered that, but, uh, thanks.

And, yet, none of this endears as anymore to the Marlins. In fact, it’s just another eyeroll in our tortured but ultimately lazy fandom of the team. We apparently aren’t as easily impressed as LeBron. Then again, LeBron wasn’t here to witness the team dismantled not once but twice after World Series wins. In the meantime, go Twins!
